Feel Unique is a truly wonderful online treasure-trove of salon brands and high end beauty, at cheaper than salon prices with free worldwide delivery - needless to say I’m a big fan. In my ongoing quest to achieve smooth, glossy hair sans straighteners, I recently put in an order for a few haircare bits to help me on my way (which, okay, I didn’t necessarily need – but this is an addiction we’re talking about), both of which hairdressers have used on my hair in the past – one quite recently and the other a good few years ago. Both of these products have aided in my GHD ban – smoothing my locks and reducing the need to straighten, meaning my split ends are greatly reduced and hair in general looks healthier. Hurrah!
My hairdresser used this nourishing heat-protectant on my hair last time I got my hair cut and I knew straight away that I needed it; the idea of a leave-in conditioner with super-strength heat protecting properties is right up my street and definitely what my thirsty, over-processed hair requires. This swiftly made its way onto my Wishlist of All Things Hair and since using it at home I’ve fallen even more deeply in love. First up, it smells goddamn amazing and contains Royal Jelly (paired with the Herbal Essences Bee Strong shampoo & conditioner this is a match made in honey-lovers heaven) and makes my hair so incredibly super-soft - I'm talking previously unknown levels of softness. I use this quite liberally on damp hair, and after blow-drying the need for straightening is eliminated; hair dries into lovely, soft natural waves – something I’ve never managed to achieve with other styling products. This is definitely not a product I’ll be in a hurry to use up; I can see myself always having a tube of this on the go - nourishing care, heat protectant and an addictive sweet honey scent? Bravo L’Oreal, bravo.
A hairdresser used this sweet-smelling smoothing cream on my hair years ago and it has haunted me ever since; in that it has always been on my wishlist but never quite made it into the shopping basket – until now. After Party smells soft and a bit like bubblegum (explaining why it appealed to my fifteen-year-old self all those years ago) and is described as a ‘Smoothing Cream for Silky, Shiny, Healthy Looking Hair’ (designed for use on dry hair). Aside from smelling lovely, this is great for taming frizz and fly-aways after blow-drying (eliminating the need to straighten) as well as for applying to dry hair on the go; I’ve been chucking this into my Mi Pac backpack to keep my hair smooth and frizz-free when I’m out and about. I never normally carry hair products around with me (with the exception of dry shampoo) but it’s reassuring to have a little something on your person just in case you do experience a bad hair day/get caught in the rain. Plus, people always tell me I smell like sweets when I use this – which can’t be bad thing, can it?
Feel Unique are currently running a site-wide Summer Sale with up to 60% off many products
