Dove Loving

I’ve found myself gravitating towards this brand a lot recently, picking up quite a few Dove products without even realising it. Simple, effective and downright luxurious, this is pampering on the cheap at its best! I’ve already spoken of my love for the Dove cream stick deodorant and its fresh clean scent; I also have the compressed aerosol version which is the perfect size to keep in my bag for top-ups.

Having never tried anything from Dove’s haircare range before, I decided to try this Nourishing Oil Care leave-in spray, won over by ‘Weightless Nutri-Oils with almond, coconut, and argan oil to smooth and seal’. Because my hair is so thick, this doesn’t do much for me when used on damp hair, but it revitalises, refreshes and softens dry hair like a dream, and leaves it smelling beautiful. Once this is finished I’ll probably try the blue Intensive Repair version for damaged hair which I’ve also heard good things about.

When my bottle of Palmer’s Natural Bronze Gradual Tan ran out recently, the Dove Summer Glow body lotion was my obvious next choice. I’ve had this before and just love the tropical smell (like pina colada and holidays), it also moisturises really well and gives skin a lovely, even tan within a couple of uses.

I also recently picked up a couple of products from the Purely Pampering range for use in the colder months (my favourite season if truth be told). I’ve tried these shea & almond cream body washes before and loved them, so when I saw them on offer in Boots I snapped them up along with this warm shea body cream which caught my eye - I think this will be so comforting to use on a winter’s evening and I can’t wait to try it. I picked up these shea beauty cream bars too as I love to pamper my hands in winter, so I’ll be using these as hand soap once the temperatures drop.

The next Dove product I want to try is definitely the Nourishing Oil Care hair mask

Are you a fan of Dove products? What are some of your favourites?
